Well, 50 years is certainly a very long time. Long enough that I can imagine we are all of us wondering how much longer we have to realize all of our ambitions. I am very eager to learn what everyone has done and are doing with their lives, and saddened that there are some people I will now never be able to catch up with. As for myself, I've lived and worked in Japan (two years); Norway (twice, for a total of 14 years); New York City (7 years); Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (1 year); Tampa (twice, nearly 11 years) Nashville, TN (6 months); went to college at Ohio State in Columbus, OH (graduated, majoring in news/editorial journalism); and now live in Massachusetts near Boston where I am semi-retired. I have one child, a son, who lives in a town close by. I worked in advertising and magazine publishing while in NYC and California, and while in Norway worked for an international classification and certification company, mostly for ships operating in international waters. I have continued my journalistic, creative and poetry writing throughout my life, been published here and there, and have a current dream of publishing a small children's book based on one of my poems. We shall see. I hope to speak to everyone I knew while at King, and then some. I am hoping for an interesting evening with you all, and am looking forward to seeing everyone.
